KWIAT CANARY DIAMONDS
EXCEEDINGLY RARE AND EXCEPTIONALLY RADIANT
Carat is often the first thing to come to mind when thinking about a diamond’s size. Size and carat weight are closely related but there are other factors in a diamond’s appearance. Cut and shape also play a role in whether the diamond appears visually larger or smaller than its actual carat weight.
A properly cut diamond will not have too much weight in hidden areas. The added weight increases the cost without giving the diamond a larger appearance. At Kwiat, we cut our diamonds to keep the carat weight in the right places. Each gem has the widest possible diameter to appear larger than other diamonds of comparable carat weight. And because of their superior cut, our diamonds will appear whiter than their GIA color grade. We call this the Kwiat Tiara® Cut.
Diamonds are rated on a color scale developed by the GIA, the world’s premier diamond grading nonprofit. The color grading system is based on the alphabet, beginning with the letter D and running all the way through Z. A grade of D is the best possible grade a diamond can receive, which translates to an absence of color. Diamonds with this grade tend to be the most rare and valuable.
Clarity refers to the presence of imperfections, known as inclusions, in the crystal structure of the diamond. Nearly all diamonds contain some sort of inclusion, as they are part of a diamond’s characteristics and structure. An inclusion within a diamond is natural, and on the higher end of the clarity scale, does not take away from its beauty.

EXCEEDINGLY RARE AND EXCEPTIONALLY RADIANT
Only one out of 1000 diamonds on Earth is a yellow diamond.
And only a fraction of those meet our strict standards.
Kwiat carefully selects yellow diamonds from “fancy yellow” to “fancy vivid yellow” on the color scale, also known as canary diamonds. Each and every one, no matter its size or cut, has received the highest GIA grade and possesses strong and even color distribution.
The most important factor in a yellow diamond’s beauty is its color, and the right cut is critical to amplifying its golden hue. Since 1907, Kwiat has been one of the world’s leaders in diamond cutting, and this expertise reveals the utmost color and brilliance from every yellow facet.
Earth’s elements bring to life a yellow diamond’s most glorious radiance. When the stone is of the highest quality, no enhancement can improve on nature’s artistry. Kwiat yellow diamonds are natural and untreated, with a purity of color that is unmatched by any manmade means.
Grading yellow diamonds requires the highest level of expertise. As with all our diamonds, we only accept yellow diamonds that are accompanied by a GIA report, and we also provide a Kwiat Certificate of Authenticity verifying the diamond’s superior qualities.
Kwiat’s brilliant diamonds and elegant designs are best appreciated in person. We welcome you to visit at your convenience or make an appointment with a Diamond Concierge, who will create a customized experience just for you.
